These ranged from Big Data, Space Research and Robotics, through to Agri-Science and Energy. In this talk I will describe the eight great technologies and explain why they are all important. I will then show that mathematics underpins and links all of them and will drive their future development. I will also explain how I think that by doing this we will learn a lot of new maths in the process. NO TICKETS FOR THIS LECTURE. ALL ARE WELCOME.
