The Dragon Curve is a fractal pattern formed as the result of an infinite iterative process. (1) Start with a line segment. (2) Replace each line segment with two line segments at right angles. This looks like a EQN:90^0 "elbow". Alternate between elbows that project from each side of the line segments. i.e. left elbows and right elbows. (3) Repeat (2) [[[ | IMG:Dragon01.png | IMG:Dragon02.png | IMG:Dragon03.png | IMG:Dragon04.png | | Order 1 | Order 2 | Order 3 | Order 4 | | IMG:Dragon05.png | IMG:Dragon06.png | IMG:Dragon07.png | IMG:Dragon08.png | | Order 5 | Order 6 | Order 7 | Order 8 | | IMG:Dragon09.png | IMG:Dragon10.png | IMG:Dragon11.png | IMG:Dragon12.png | | Order 9 | Order 10 | Order 11 | Order 12 | ]]] IMG:Dragon.png The Dragon curve has many varied and interesting properties not least that two or more curves fit together - sort of tessellate.
