A number which is greater than 1 and not a prime number is called a composite number.
Every composite number N has a factor n such that 1 < n < N.
Some people call a composite number a "Rectangle Number" _
because you can make a non-trivial rectangle of that area.
This is in analogy with "Triangle Numbers," "Square Numbers" _
and so on.
