The Dragon Curve is a fractal pattern formed as the result of an infinite iterative process.
(1) Start with a line segment.
(2) Replace each line segment with two line segments at right angles. This looks like a $90^0$ "elbow". Alternate between elbows that project from each side of the line segments. i.e. left elbows and right elbows.
(3) Repeat (2)

The Dragon curve has many varied and interesting properties not least that two or more curves fit together - sort of tessellate.
